May 2021

Hello Everyone,

Wow! Here it is May already and did we have a fun time during a crazy time!

Hopefully this is the beginning of new leadership for PYLAA – ELECTION MONTH. The nomination/vote/volunteer form is on our website. New leaders and committee members generate new ideas and opportunities.

We thank you all for keeping us active through this challenging year and attending our monthly Zoom meetings with your continued support. Thank you for the generous donations received to help keep us afloat
For those who missed our last Zoom meeting, the following changes were covered:
1) All artwork regardless of age of piece can be submitted for member competition.
2) The entry fee for member competition is $2.00 payable on the website through PayPal.
3) Effective September, membership fees are $35.00.

These minimal increases help us to provide the outstanding professional demonstrators
we have enjoyed and support other events put on by PYLAA.

We have received all entries for the Annual PYLAA Student Competition. These amazing pieces are currently being judged by some our volunteers. All of this is being done virtually and a PowerPoint Presentation of all entries and winners will be on our website. PYLAA is honoring these students with certifications, gift cards, and cash prizes. This is possible due to your support.

The Celebration of Arts in the Park is taking place June 6th from 11am – 4pm.
The deadline to reserve our space is May 10th. See details on the website.

Wishing everybody a happy healthy creative summer vacation.
